Ilö

Physical Characteristics

The Ilö typically have thick white or black hair covering their bodes. Males often have long, thick hair on their heads and thick facial hair. Women don't usually have facial hair, but they often have long, thick hair on their heads and thick hair covering their bodies. Both genders have slitted pupils and superior night vision to any of the other races. The men of Ilö also tend to be larger and more muscular than some other races, other than the Koltara, whereas the women tend to be more lithe and agile.

Culture

Common Dress code

The Ilö dress surprisingly light for how far north they live. They usually wear heavy furs, but for any other race, even the Ilö standard attire would not be enough to shield one from the cold. Believe me.

Outsider Perspective

The epitome of Ilö beauty, at least to me, is long, dark hair often done in a simple braid. Shining silver eyes, filled with a yearning for adventure... nose like a... Er... My apologies. I believe I got a bit carried away. I suppose I will let Myggö take over from here.

Ilö Perspective

I'm sorry about that. I think he's in love with my sister and we're going to have a talk about that later, but I'll write this down first. For women, the ideal of beauty is similar to Döýffu's form of their age. Girls want to look like their mother, you know. There are, however, plenty who try to stray from Döýffu's look, in order to stand out more and get some sense of pride in themself separate from any goddess. All-in-all, it generally depends on the man as to what the ideal of beauty is. Ghū’nadī being a prime example of this.
