Backstory

Taowhiri, on the day before his name day boarded the Flying Griffin and met a young elf scholar named Lestra, whom he tried to impress by telling the stories his heroic feat of clearing Jarren's barn of large rats, on their trade ship. Lestra rebuffed his amateur advances. During the evening, the ship departed for a day’s sail to the main island of Hoa Noho.
