Istus is the most powerful of the deities, but aloof from mortals and immortals alike, concerning herself only with the fate of the universe. She can been seen spinning the web of fate but can also be seen from time to time in the mortal world seeing how fate plays out first hand. Her aloofness is not from a lack of care but from too much care as she knows that changing the fate of one person so it will be better never works and it is best to keep things at arms reach

Tenets of Faith

Istus wishes her followers to attempt diplomacy in all confrontation before employing violence, however, after said diplomacy fails she prefers her followers fight bravely to the last rather than show cowardice. Her paladins preach mercy to the injured regardless of circumstance, and stress that every individual has a set-path in life, and that to lose that path is to lose ones' self.

A girl that was fated to never be born she was saved from the womb by one of the old gods and was born a goddess of that that had doomed her, she grew up as a goddess and learned the hard way how changing fate could go gone and so she became aloof and only will show her face to her paladins
