The Abyss

The Abyss is a series of planes with extremely harsh climates and environments. Throughout the plane are a myraid of creatures suited to be perfect predators to that environment, these are the Demons. Some demons have shown dominance over their fellow demons, these are the self proclaimed Demon Lords. There are and endless number of layers within the Abyss. It is a place of endless destruction and chaos.

Demon Lords

Olgog, Demon Lord of Undeath

Once a Devil, Olgog is the brother to Azamin, Demon Prince of Life. After he died as a devil, Azamin reforged him as a demon to claim dominence over Tiverstone alone. Olgog was enraged by his brother's deception and swore to destroy all of his brother's creations. Olgog now claims dominence over Bog of Torringcroft, corrupting all demons and souls that enter his domain. He rules over the undead city Khar Oorrgass, which has a moat fed by The River Styx.

Kornan, Demon Lord of Beasts

Located at the heart of the Muncarres Woods lies Kornan's lair. He is father of all Minotaur's before his controlling influence over them was shattered by Arzeus the first Minotaur to find his way out of the maze of Muncarres. Kornan's only goal is to destroy all that is lawful. This is reflected in his kingdom as the strongest rise up and the weak are destroyed. This may be the only reason that Kornan and his kin has not taken over the other planes as they are always infighting.

Dongrathon, Demon Lord of the Depths

A temple located at the bottom of an endless ocean lies the lair of Dongrathon. What Dongrathon is rumored to be a tentacled demon, as that is the symbol that the members of its cult bear. Dongrathon causes madness with their gaze and wishes to corrupt everything created.

Elmoth, Demon Lord of Illusions

In the never-ending flat desert of the Soundless Fields is the mystical city of Ceaphis, also known as the City of Lies. It is impossible to tell what is real and not within the city with its people being disguised demons, or their slaves. Their ruler is Elmoth, the King of Lies, Lord of Illusions, the Demon with a Thousand Faces, who is seeking to find his lost staff using his influence to try and locate all of its pieces.

Tharraath, Demon Lord of Pleasure

Tharraath appears around ten feet tall and a skin of light purple. He is able to change his appearance at will and lives in a palace of excess. This palace is located in the heart of the Barimoni Jungle, a harsh environment with a large number of predators.

Or'gath, Demon Prince of Slime

Taking residence in the Emsstall Swamp and shares this layer with Xor'gan, Demon Lord of Spores. Or'gath is also known as The Great Ooze and came to its status from cannibalizing other oozes until it became the massive hulking black ooze it is now. With its mass and number of oozes consumed it gained a sentience of its own, making it only that much more of a danger.

Xor'gan, Demon Lord of Spores

Xor'gan resides with Or'gath in the Emmsstall Swamp. The Lady of Rot and Decay her only goal seems to be to infect others with her spores. Her motives are unknown and her cultists are usually unwilling servant having been infected by her spores. It is assumed that creatures infected with her spores have an unlimited telepathic link with Xor'gan herself or one of her servants.

Kagaath, Demon Lord of the Hunt

Located in the mountainous Savage Slopes is the Gnoll like demon lord Kagaath. Roaming this mountainous location Kagaath leads a pack of demons that find pleasure in sewing fear into their prey before finally finishing them off. Kagaath's motives are unknown but has been known to be locked in combat with Kornan and have a long standing rivalry. The layer of Savage Slopes contains no standing civilization, but the ruins of them, leading questions about what was once there.
