Astral Plane

Most dimensional travel occurs by crossing over into the Astral Plane. It is here that time and space have little meaning. Without a supernatural guide it is the will of the traveler that dictates where they end up. Naturally the entire plane appears as a hazy fog with seemingly nothing in it. However some isolated islands exist, usually unihabited.
