Personal history
Childhood: Grew up carefree and curious, taking an interest in the family's autonomous servants and learning about them from a young age. She was sent to the capital of Ustros for schooling in the most prestigious academies, and though friendly, her family's iconoclasm and personal idiosyncrasies made it difficult to form deep or long lasting connections with those who found her too rustic and peculiar as she was often unaware of the more intricate matters of religious culture that was second nature to those who had grown up in the highly devout capital. Ending up spending more time immersed in her studies and tinkering with machines at the academy's garages.
Family History: Part of the large Sommerdell Dynasty that came from a lineage of explorers and merchants. Grew up in Eslorass, surrounded by servants, wealth and privilege. Though faithful to Our Lady of Divine Descendence, the Sommerdell family was more terrestrial in their outlook and exposure to other lives and cultures beyond Ospos gave them a more cosmopolitan outlook. When the War of the Haro Minnaou began, the family aligned with the more secular factions seeking a quick resolution to what they saw as an unnecessary conflict. As the panzergeist advantage of Ospos saw the beginnings of a burgeoning empire, several well connected members of the Summerdell's and other likeminded individuals in other families made contact with the members of the Pactus Summit and attended, providing the blueprints, technology and background of the Osposi panzergeists.
Exposed: The Sommerdell involvement came to light towards the end of the war and though both the Sommerdells and the new government had been working towards the same ends, there was public fury and still regarded as high treason by the government.
From Shame to Danger: The countrywide opprobrium led to widespread condemnation and harassment that culminated in a violent scapegoating of the various traitors for the loss of the war. Arson attacks against family holdings escalated to street lynchings and eventually wholesale murder, with mobs not caring which particular members had been involved and who hadn't. Issara herself was extraordinarily lucky, having been home on a break when the news broke and ended up fleeing with a younger cousin when it became obvious things were getting worse.
Recent Past: Was able to escape and travel to Tethol Vardis, a small town built in the shadow of ancient ruins, cutting her hair and working as a mechanic for hire.
Education
Educated in the best schools in Esloross and universities of Ustros with a well rounded education in matters of state, philosophy and sciences, though her greatest passion being automotonics. Having both formal and practical experience.
