Two maids

Huh, I wonder if there is any research put into if any of this was true...Could we visit The Haunted house?
August to Zamarca
This love story has been told in Korda during the last 200 years. Several different bards have created songs about this story but the most famous version is the one told by the bard troupe called Twilight Tones.   According to the original legend, the old elf living in The Haunted house was a strict person. His sons quickly left as soon as they could. He kept a tight grasp on his youngest son. The youngest son wanted to leave as well but he could not.   Watching the outside from his window he decided to sneak out. He wanted to at least see the flowers from close up. He disguised himself as a maid and fled the building.   A young man from a village far away had traveled the roads for a long while. When he came upon the house he asked to stay. They would not let him in because he was a man. Besides, they didn't take in guests.   The young man frowned. He looked around the yard and found some maids' dresses hanging on a washing line. He took one, dressed in them, and returned to the main door. Luckily another maid answered this time and she let him in. He got to audition for the butler and was promptly hired to take care of the flower beds in the garden.   The two maids met over the flower beds. They talked about the flowers and struck up a friendship over a couple of weeks. Both of them believing that the other person was a female maid.   After meeting every day, over the flower beds, for several days they fell in love. They wanted to run away together. But the old elf caught them. He killed the young man, his blood spilling over the flowerbeds as well as the yard, and locked his son in the basement.
