The Human Annihilation
When humans first crashed on this island all the species made a pact to fight off these apparent intruders. When the humans were nearly wiped out they made a treaty with the islanders, but not before putting up a good fight. When the islanders saw that the humans meant no harm they were able to come to an agreement.
The Conflict
Prelude
Due to the chaos of the Dwarven civil war and almost a century after the cataclysm, the islanders thought that the humans meant to conquer their island.
Deployment
Guerrilla warfare.
Battlefield
Western coast, North of the Ancestral river.
Conditions
All out warfare.
Outcome
Heavy casualties on the human side (1/3 of population), and a slightly greater amount in number among all native races.
Aftermath
Distrust from the humans to all other races, human population and cultural boom within the next 20 years. Natives look in hindsight that maybe they should have talked first and not let prejudice get the better of them.
Historical Significance
After a long and tedious war, with no real battles but many guerrilla style skirmishes, both sides came to a truce. In Literature
