Saint Iun the Confessor
Saint of Justice, Punishment, Vengeance, Equality, and Penance
Iun is the Saint of Equality, Retribution, and Fairness, and was charged with ensuring that justice in the universe is dispensed. Bestowed to fight the vile temptations of the Betrayer Saint Askaidon, Iun is chiefly concerned with rooting out heresy and cults within the church of the Saints. His followers have appropriately been named as Inquisitors or Confessors, and often take to their duty with supreme zeal. A favorite among Vengeance Paladins, Iun also represents the virtue of karmic justice and ensuring that all get what they are owed. His justice is retribution, and revenge is virtuous to Iun. Legal systems inspired by the Saint encourage punitive measures above all else, and are concerned foremost with ensuring that the guilty receive what they are owed in kind instead of future protection for the innocent.
