Saint Ishtar the Glorious

Saint of Glory, Honor, Nobility, and Leadership.

Ishtar is the Saint of Glory and the highest of all the Saints, worshiped as their leader to guide them across the heavens. As one of the three prime creator gods, Ishtar was the creator of Angels and the other Saints at the Dawn of Time, leading the first rays of light into the empty universe. As a result of his foundational role in existence itself, he is revered as the patron Saint of nobility, monarchy, and leaders who wish the blessing of a true king. To Ishtar, a ruler is decreed by the divine and only certified with his blessing. False lords without the blessing of the saints are heresy, and are to be deposed with as much fervor as can be mustered. Ishtar is said to also be a Saint of the Midday Sun, and his influence is most pronounced at high noon.
TENETS OF ISHTAR:
To rule is to be born with a fragment of godhood. Those without it do not have a right to rule.
To lead is to be like the Sun itself; rise for all to see, and let your light shine across the entire world.
Have humility beneath your rulers, and pride towards your subjects.
There is always a greater king, and even the highest king is beneath the gods.
Rulership and serfdom is the natural-and right-state of mortalkind.
