Saint Ashuin the Protector

Saint of Humanity, Light, Protection, Grace, Peace, Order, and the Rule of Law

Ashuin is the Patron Saint of Humanity, and represents the virtue of protecting others. Ashuin and her followers first sheltered the young and vulnerable human race against the savagery and chaos of the wilderness, and birthed the first human settlements into the world in the image of her fellow saints. She is a deity of righteousness, a favorite among knights templar or holy paladins, and rewards piety in her followers with blessings and boons of protection. The Saint is unconcerned with freedom or liberties, preferring a strong and orderly rule of law that will ensure protection over one that would allow individuals to harm themselves. To this end monarchs and feudal lords often draw power from Ashuin, and she blesses them in kind. 
TENETS OF ASHUIN:
Protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Protect even those you detest, so long as it maintains order.
The rule of law is sacrosanct and the right of kings is divine.
The peasantry know not how to lead themselves-a strong king to protect them is required.
Magic not achieved through clerical means is an instrument of chaos. Oppose it thusly, but recognize there are sometimes larger evils.
