Saint Ahari is the saint of loyalty and obedience, and is the Patron Saint of knights and other protectors of the crown. Ahari is chiefly concerned with upholding and honoring oaths and remaining loyal to a fault, and is the mortal enemy of those who break their oaths for the benefit of themselves or others. Ahari strives to cultivate incorruptible forces against the enemies of the Saints, and Knights of Ahari are prized for their unflinching loyalty and dedication to their task. Consequently Service by a Knight of Ahari is seen as a status symbol in many kingdoms, and they are prized as great bodyguards to kings and nobility.
TENETS OF AHARI:
Damnation is preferable to disloyalty.
Your word is as binding as any law or spell.
Serve, do not lead. Leaders need to break their promises. You cannot.
Your will is iron, and your temperament is steel. No vice or virtue will stray your oaths.
Obligation is not borne from society, but from choice. Choose yours wisely.
