Isekthamnos the Immortal

Fey God of Serpents, Immortality, Nobility, Youth, Yuan-Ti and Naga, Justice, and Endurance.
Isekthamnos, also known as the Immortal Serpent, is the god of snakes and progenitor to the serpentfolk races such as the Yuan-Ti, Coatl, and Naga. His venom nurtures the soil in the Feywild and ensures the undying youth of the Elves and Faeries, and this vital role in the realm allows him to rule more directly over much of it. After all, Isekthamnos is a god of nobility and leadership, ensuring that all of his subjects are treated justly and that his children should follow his example. Isekthamnos also teaches the virtue of enduring great hardship, represented through the shedding of old scales, to grow back younger and stronger than before. The Lord of Immortality grants his final and eponymous gift only to a select few mortals outside of the Feywild, but that promise has bought followers among many nobles and particularly the kingdom of Va’salor.   TENETS OF ISEKTHAMNOS:   To be truly immortal, build a legacy that lives beyond your death.   Nobility is determined by character, not by blood.   Endure and outlast hardship, and be made stronger because of it.   Immortality means nothing if you remain unchanging with age.   A snake rattles its tail before striking because fighting with honor is preferable to fighting to win.   SYMBOL OF ISEKTHAMNOS: A serpent coiling around a crown.
