Character Creation
Starting Wealth
Fresh characters start with average wealth. If you are rerolling a new character subtract the cost of any gear you give away to the party or is looted from your corpse from your starting wealth to a minimum of your classes starting wealth. For example if you retire your character and decide to hand over your ring of protection +1 to a party member before you go, reduce your starting wealth by 2000.- By class at first level
- 1,000 gp at second level
- 3,000 gp at third level
- 6,000 gp at fourth level
- 10,500 gp at fifth level
- 16,000 gp at sixth level
- 23,500 gp at seventh level
- 33,000 gp at eight level
- 46,000 gp at ninth level
- 62,000 gp at tenth level
- 82,000 gp at eleventh level
Point Buy
If not specified point buy is 20 points. You may not reduce more than one stat to 7.Races
Unless noted otherwise races up to 13 rp are allowed including- All Core
- Elves have recieved homebrew subraces noted in the homebrew section
- All featured excluding Drow and Fetchling
- Sylphys, Undine, Ifrits, oreads, and Kobolds have recieved buffs noted in thier pages in the homebrew section
- All uncommon excluding Svirfneblin and Strix.
- Suli may only select a single element instead of receiving all four
- Duskwalker
- Astomi
- Ganzi The Ganzi may pick their oddity
- Kuru for evil campaigns
Health
At first level you receive your maximum hit points for your class (8 on a d8) At every other level you may choose to roll your hit dice or take average. Once you have chosen to roll you may not chose to take average instead. If you are a martial character (fighting on the front line) you may take average rounded up instead of rounded down (5 on a d8 instead of 4)Traits and Drawbacks
Characters start with two traits You are allowed one drawback in exchange for an additional trait and a Major Drawbacks in exchange for an additional feat The following traits are banned- Reactionary
- Warrior of Old
- Elven Reflexes
- Wary of Danger
- Paragon of Speed
Hero Points
Characters start with 2 hero points. If you are willingly retiring a character they instead start with a number of hero points equal to how many your previous character had when they left. More information on hero points can be found hereBonus Feats
All characters begin the game with the following bonus feats- Power Attack
- Deadly Aim
- Combat Expertise
- Weapon Finesse
