The Black Ring

The darkness of night sings a somber song as her shadowy children march silently across the land. The moonlight catches on cold steel; coin purses and jugulars severed in tandem. The Black Ring are a vicious brood of cutthroats and thieves, their footsteps ordered by the mysterious Princess of Crows.

Structure

The Princess of Crows, a demigod of unknown origin, hand selects the leaders of each of the 3 chapters. The Crowborn are the heads of the guild chapters, each one speaks directly to the Princess and sees that her will is done. The Bishops are more numerous and deal more directly with the lower level members in the guild and make sure important business and markets are kept under their control. Acolytes are the main body of the Black Ring. They complete minor tasks and thievery to help instill fear in the peasantry.

Public Agenda

The Princess of Crows seeks manuscripts of old magic that will open a gateway to the Shadowplains in order to finally meet her mother. what she wishes from that point are unknown even to her most trusted. Most members merely follow the zealous path of bloodshed because they dream of wealth or power.
