Lun'arei: God of the Moon

You know not what nightfall may bring.

Pure Pantheon

Lun'arei is one of the two most important gods. They are the god of the moon, the night, knowledge, death and the afterlife. They protect academics, nocturnal creatures, the stars and the moon as well as mourners, burials and the dead. Caskets, urns and rememberance amulets are often inscribed with their crescent moon symbol to protect the deceased person in the afterlife and their memory in the living plane. Schools and academic buildings also often adorn their buildings with Lun'are's symbol.

Lun'arei is described as being humanoid with silver-blue skin and silver hair that covers their face and trails several feet behind them. They have been described as floating half of a foot above the ground, and moving extremely gracefully and smoothly, as if swimming in water. They are often pictured wearing a deep blue or purple velvet robe that covers their whole body, and holding an ornately decorated urn.
