Creation of Iainus
-Extract from Chapter One: Creation of The Planets and Gods, “The World of Magic: How Iainus Came to Be”, by Anne Manning, History and Science Professor at Eta’s Academy of Wisdom, AOA1859“Iainus started out like any other solid, rocky planet; accretion. However, at the time of our planet’s creation, two nearby stars had their supernovas at the same time, which is resulted in their radiations colliding at Iainus. This sped up the process of the planet properly forming from millions upon millions of years, into the brief span of five years.
“At the end of these years, eight singular bacteria mutated into our main gods; Eta, Goddess of Wisdom; Sukorr, God of War and Battle; Jutia, Goddess of Peace and Tranquillity; Amjir, God of Music; Irnja, Goddess of Law and Freedom; Eftos, God of Love and Family Relationships; Mansyn, Goddess of Medicine; and Ridar, God of the Earth and Sky.
“Ten years later, the seasonal gods were created. According to interviews during the God’s presence, the first one was Gitrix, Demi-Goddess of the Spring. Ridar was talking to Eftos about the possibility of a sibling. The two then took it up with Eta and Sukorr, of whom are said to be the head Gods, and then a unanimous decision with the other four gods came to the conclusion of creating the seasonal gods.
“Gitrix was created first, next was Qerus, Demi-God of the Summer, he was created from a singular bacterium instead of a mix of bacteria and a God’s DNA like Gitrix. Deciding to create a season to rival the warmth of Gitrix and Qerus, the next god created was Katia, Goddess of the Winter. She was created the same way as Qerus. Finally, Jutia asked Eftos, of whom she was already in a relationship with for the past few years if the final Demi-God could be a child of their own, to which Eftos agreed to. This final one was Voher, Demi-God of the Autumn.
“Five years after the Seasonal Gods were created and Iainus was in order, Eta and Amjir (of whom was already married 7 years prior at this point) turned out to have a child of their own. At this time, the main eight Gods decided to create their own individual countries and create citizens of whom will flourish and live out their own individual lives.
“Eta and Amjir teamed up to create Eoberona, Sukorr created Jashington, Jutia created Credal, Eftos created Staisau, Irnja created Eshington, Mansyn created Lechoaland and Ridar created Estar. The main Gods lived on their countries for twenty years whilst the seasonal Gods stayed at Terra Deorum (the God’s island). At the end of these 20 years, Jutia and Eftos married each other and the Gods were not heard from since.”
