This item is made from hard wood that is incredibly light. All items made of darkwood are hard to set alight, but can burn under sustained heat.

Armor

Darkwood constructed medium armor made of weighs 15 lbs, heavy armor weighs 25 lbs, and shields weigh 2 lbs. All armor loses the leaden keyword, and no longer causes disadvantage on stealth checks.

Weapons

Darkwood constructed weapons lose the heavy keyword if they have it. Two-handed weapons which are not versatile gain the versatile keyword. Two-handed weapons which are versatile, and one-handed weapons that are not light gain the light keyword.

This armor cannot be made naturally, and is a gift from a forest spirit.
