Hyrith

Hyrith is a large continent of Kyrein, and is divided into 7 major kingdoms. However, its origins began with the ancient reptilian tribe known as Hakurakia, that dominated the lands of Hyrith. They were gifted with a strange sentient parasite, that gave them great strength, in terms of giving themselves up to become hosts for their 'blessings'. The Ancient Hakurakians were also the descendants of first created creatures, known as the Dragah Reapmahs (Dragon Reapers), that once roam the universe as gods.   The Ancient Hakurakians eventually are powerful upon the discovery of magic and energy weaponry, that could be utilize for civil and military use. Soon, their power for control and supremacy corrupted their ways of life, and soon resorted them to warring with neighbor tribes and kingdoms. This soon led to the downfall of one particular kingdom on Hyrith, the dwarves. The dwarves were the first race to create steam power mechanization. However, with their bordering tensions with the Ancient Hakurakians, a war soon broke out.   The dwarves were crushed by the might of the Ancient Hakurakians, and their technology was seized and repurposed. Thus, the creations of robotics soon emerged. However, the Ancient Hakurakians also developed tension amongst one another, as many began to question the parasite that was bestowed upon them. Soon, a civil war broke out and order was lost. Many of the higher officials soon fled within temples and concealed themselves from within. It is unknown to what happen to many of the Ancients, but a new Hakurakia was formed, freed from its corrupt ways and remained isolated from the rest of the world, for now...
