History of The Isceian/Feiagaolite Civil War

The civil war of the Immortals was called by different names including: War of Immortals, Wrath of Isceians, War of the Gods, the Creation War, the Feiagaolite Civil War and more. The two sides divided upon how involved they should be with the mortal races. After an incident, the Overseers had advised minimal contact (although 1 or 2 advised destructive contact). The debate escalated full out war, centering on the planet Neph because some Isceian were interfering there. The two sides cursed or blessed the mortals, depending upon who you ask, who aided them or were against them. There are several stories of which case it was. They created immortal life-drinkers that would exchange temporary power for life and predator animal lycanthropes. They also had offspring with the Neph mortals, as they often would with mortal races. Neph had a race of dragons which also were forced to choose sides. These dragons could shapeshift and also had offspring with mortals. All of the dragons perished in the war, as did a third of Isceians. The war spanned multiple solar systems. 7 planets and 2 full solar systems were annihilated, all with life. This displeased the Overseers, who then forced the Isceian to have a truce. The war ended in a compromise. The Isceian set up a system of voting about future interference proposals and placed limitations on what they could do. Deviance from these rules meant that all other Isceian would track the perpetrators down and execute them without mercy. Due to low reproduction within the Isceian race (though not the case between them and other races), they dread having another war. After a few generations, the people of Neph began to see the half-humans as a dangerous “other”. The Hunters were formed to deal with the half-humans. Half-humans went into hiding and over time both half-humans and the Hunters were forgotten despite their continued existence.
