Irradio

There's a death sentence hanging over all of us! You may scoff now, but one day you too will be taken by the demon that is Irradio!
Irradio is a condition normally found in members of the population over the age of 50. The condition not only makes the sufferer feel ill, but it also slowly decreases their control over their movements, and is classified by many healers as a neurophysical condition.

Causes

Irradio may be caused by radiation.

Symptoms

Nausea, vomiting, headache, weakened immune system, weakness, tiredness, diarrhoea, difficulty moving, discolourations, bleeding, baldness, dizziness, disorientation, low blood pressure, loss of movement, shock, seizures, tremors.

Treatment

The best way to treat someone suffering from Irradio is to kill them before it kills them, as this would be putting them out of their misery.

Prognosis

The full disease will last between either 12 weeks 3 days or 20 weeks 2 days.

Stage 1

In the first stage of Irradio, about half of the people suffering from it experience nausea or vomiting, along with a slight headache. They also become more susceptible to catching other diseases, and gradually become weaker and tireder. This stage will last about 6-8 weeks.

Stage 2

In the second stage of Irradio, those who did not get nausia in the first stage will now get nausea, and about 10% of the population will get diarrhoea. A mild or moderate headache is also common, as well as a slight fever. Sufferers also often find it harder to move. Red or purple discolourations will begin to form on the skin, as if the person is rotting, and sufferers will begin bleeding. Hair will also begin to fall out. This stage lasts about 4-6 weeks.

Stage 3

In this stage the Diarrhoea increases, as does the headache, fever and difficulty moving. Sufferers also feel dizzy and disorientated and blood pressure begins to drop. This stage lasts about 2-4 weeks.

Stage 4

In this stage the headache will continue to get worse, and sufferers will also begin to find themselves unable to make voluntary movements. The sufferer will begin to enter a state of shock. This stage will last about 2 days-2 weeks.

Stage 5

The final stage brings about seizures, tremors and an almost total lack of muscle coordination. This stage will last either 1 or 2 days, after which the sufferer wil be dead.

Rare symptoms

At any point during Irradio's cause, some rare symptoms can be noticed. These include burns which appear despite the lack of any heat source, often refferred to as fever burns, problems with the glands on the neck, breathing difficulties and cataracts.

Affected Groups

The elderly are at more of a risk. Those who live in the North East are also at a greater risk of developing this when they are older.

Prevention

Some groups in the North-East, an area more at risk of Irradio, attempt to prevent Irradio by covering people over the age of 50 with a thin layer of lead in a ritualistic method. This does seem to work, however it often leads to a completely different disease, which may kill the person before Irradio has a chance to kill them.
