In the 2080s, society is...well, not quite thriving, but they're certainly figuring it out. Poverty isn't common, and illness is all but obliterated.   Yet imperfections are still clear; the war-torn, irradiated cities on the outskirts of civilization stand empty, a grim reminder of previous generations' failings, their deformed inhabitants fled to wilder areas. Able-bodied adults are required to enlist in the Protection Forces, fighting against foreign invaders and often laying their lives on the line.   The KRF organizations are the martyrs of society; They set up refuges for orphans — for in war, such things happen. They care for children whose parents have enlisted in the PF, and hold responsibility for feeding and clothing the needy, giving homes to the homeless.
