Bowery

Bowery is the capital city of Striceland. It is located on the mouth of the Muddy River and serves as an import and export center. Bowery is the seat of government and customs for Striceland. Due to the mineral economy of Striceland, Bowery is also a major smelting and refinery center.

Demographics

Bowery is home to the government of Striceland, several refineries and smelters, and the only import and export dock in the country. The people of Bowery are hard working individuals. They are miners, smelters, refiners, longshoremen, and smugglers. Business owners are considered second class citizens because their work isn’t difficult enough.

Government

Bowery is the headquarters of Striceland's army and navy. The navy controls the waterways and docks while the army polices the city. The army in Bowery is the only permanent and full time army unit in Striceland.

The city is surrounded by a stone wall and the harbor and river are protected by underwater chains.

All import and export traffic comes through Bowery. Income comes through tax collection, service shops, refining, smelting, etc.
