Maeve Koo - call sign KooKoo, Commander Elhaz Lance

Maeve Koo is 28 year old woman who was born and raised in Kuritan space. When Maeve was 16 she won tickets to attend the Solaris games. While she was away her family was wiped out in an earthquake. Stranded on Solaris, Maeve worked found a job cleaning Mechbays. Eventually, she found her way onto the support team of a small time gladiator. Her small size and quick reflexes soon found her as the pilot's sparring partner. With fate on Maeve's side, the pilot was injured in a match that left the mech intact. Rather than pay the fines for voiding a contract Maeve piloted the next match and did well. Once the pilot was healthy Maeve moved on to other 'backup' pilot roles and eventually logged enough combat time to get admitted to the Mercenary Guild.
She served in a half dozen small merc units as a temporary/substitute pilot filling in for injuries on regular crews. Her service record is solid but she never formed a strong enough bond to settle in with a unit.
Huginn's Talons is her first command.
