Hoskwerve
Hoskwerve is an isolationist island nation about the size of Australia. Hoskwerve used to be in contact with the rest of the world, but about ten years ago, a meteorite swarm of magical ore caused about a third of the worlds population to be able to use magic. before, magic had existed but it was only granted by Gods to their followers. Almost all the people who's powers where awakened had no idea how to control their powers and usually ended up accidentally causing massive destruction and death. This lead to governments trying to detain awakened people which lead to more panic which lead to more destruction which lead to more death. The government of Hoskwerve was like "screw this crap" and cut itself off from the rest of the world so that they didn't burn with it.
Currently Hoskwerve consists of three major islands and three smaller islands. The "Big Three", as there referred to, are Derkamstrast, followed by Shakuty (Sha koot yay), and Mernsong. The residence of Hoskwerve include races from all over the D&D multiverse. There are Orks, Elves, Trolls, Giants, Tieflings, Humans, Haflings, Gnomes, Kenku, Tabashi, Lizardfolk, and even some races that I made up, like the Kora Shiva, Whitch are basicaly giant bug people who live in the desert, or the Wearad.
