Though people once in habited all of Hjoldus during the nomadic period before the formation of the Order of Mitigation and the Era of Dawn, not much of the wilds is remembered. Sentries were constructed in the wilds between the Isthmus of Ød and the Banded Steps during the Conquest in the Era of Dawn.
