Ryna Hallerman

Ryna Hallerman is the daughter of Harren Hallerman and niece of Carus Hallerman. Abandoned early in life, Ryna was adopted by her uncle who was at the time an Arbitrator upon Ysai Ydumee. Psychic phenomena began to erupt around her however towards her eighth birthday and caught the attention of the Inquisition and the Black Ships due to the strange potential surrounding it. Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Antonia Ishta dispatched an Acolyte team to retrieve her but they would never reach their objective as either out of spite for his peer or compassion for Ryna, Inquisitor Glavius Wroth would send an advanced warning to Carus Hallerman.
Once Ryna was secure and away from Antonia, Wroth convinced Carus to hand up Ryna to him and join the Holy Inquisition on the condition that he would keep her from exploitation and judgement.
Depending on how you view Wroth's actions, Ryna is either an example of his unique empathy or a prime example of the lengths he will go to undo fellow Inquisitors he considers untrustworthy. Regardless it should be noted that Wroth took a very similar approach when recruiting Cornelius Astro. This indicates he either has a specific use for powerful Psykers in his teams or simply doesn't trust anyone else with their capabilities.
