Ellix the Runeblade

A hefty great sword runed with three distinctive and important words Life, Death and Magic these words engraved on the blade act as seals and protection for and from the soul that is bound inside.
The soul inside this blade is named Ellix she was the daughter of the Skeleton King. Before the Skeleton king decided to become a member of the undead he experimented on his family in his pursuit to achieve immortality, binding their souls and sacrificing their blood later his sanity. Ellix was 16 and the last in her family when he turned to her for the subject of his final experiment, she had witnessed all he did to their once happy family she begged and pleaded for her father to stop and come to his senses but to no avail he was too far gone already.
The soon to be Skeleton King began the soul binding and used all the souls and blood he collected over the years from his former family to power his daughters soul with necrotic magic. Once he finished charging her soul with all that dark magic a excruciating and tormenting experience, Ellix's mind was broken she couldn't handle the pain or the power. Her body started to overload with it the necrotic energy started pouring out of her and black pools of blood flowed under her feet. Her father knew at this point he had not much time left so he started the binding process.
It took a while and he was terribly injured from dark bolts and decaying magic that emanated from the blade during the binding ritual but eventually it was complete Ellix and the Rune Blade were one.
Ellix can speak telepathically directly to the person who wields her. The broken mind of Ellix only seeks destruction in her current state and is quite chaotic and irrational at times. If irritated Ellix will try and force her will onto the wielders and if successful she will go on random attacking sprees blocking the wieders mind to what happened. Ellix grants you control of some necrotic magic and gives you a little control or sway with the undead.
