Kodaijinshu (古代人種)

The Kodaijinshu (古代人種, lit. ancient times races), or sometimes abbreviated to Kojin (古人, lit. ancient people), refers to five mortal races that lived on the islands of Hinomoto long before humans arrived. The Kojin are the: Kamijuu, Kitsune, Ningyo, Onijin, and Tengu.
