Hills & Ogres: Nine Worlds

Midgard. Three land masses dot this realm. The barbaric lands of Red Soil, Achukma, the frozen plague continent, and the Great World. The Great World is where our stories take place. Five continents form this place. Oceanus, the Land of Peach Soil. Erie, the Land of White Soil. Edo, the Land of Yellow Soil. Alkebulan, the Land of Black Soil. Finally, Yggdrasil rooted in the Golden Soil of the Holy Land.   The free, ocena loving Iberian people live in Oceanus. The land is deeply divided by religion and country but united in their struggles against outsiders. The religious and unified Oriental people of Edo live under the absolute rule of the Emperor. One religion, one language, one country, one Emperor. The pale Nordists share their forests with the elves in Erie. Little besides strength and clan matter in between these trees. The Nordists value individuality and are beholden to known but those they respect and their spears that desire to pierce the hearts of the enemy. The mighty Saharains of Alkebulan are split betwixt two kingdoms. The only reason Alkebulan is unable to compete against the others is that no one strong enough has risen to rule over all Saharains.   Thes four lands are united against each other in their desire for the Holy Land. But recently three new conflicts have emerged. Ethnic cleansing in Edo, the discovery of black powder in Alkebulan and the invention of guns, and a fleet of Slave Raiders from Achukma in Oceanus and Eire.
