History

Waterdeep arrived within Hetarunde in 13 OD on the 7th of Smolae, now known as the holiday "The Arrival." It had just escaped from an incursion by Maanzecorian and Mind Flayers, during which the city was defended by the city watch, the statues of Waterdeep, and notably both Aeling, the Faceless and Xed, of the Dark Vibes.
