The Origins of the Pantheon and The Great Wheel

In the beginning there were four gods:


-Arbos - the aspect of good
-Dhuum - the aspect of evil
-Leira - the aspect of chaos
-Primus - the aspect of law
This four gods fought for eons , breaking each other apart until they become only energy. This energy will become the Four Planes:
-The Positive Plane
-The Negative Plane
-The Plane of Chaos
-The Plane of Law


From the remaining energy there will be born 15 gods , less powerful than the original four.Those gods created the Outer Planes.
-Chauntea - The Great Mother , The Goddess of Life , created Elysium.
-Asenrir - The Patron of the Beasts , The God of Animals , created The Beastlands
-Ilmater - The One who Endures , The God of Hope , created Arcadia
-Moradin - The Creator , The God Of Forge , created Bytopia
-Corellon Larethian - The Protector , The God of Wilderness , created Mount Celestia
-Azuth - The First Magister , The God of Arcane , created Arborea
-Tempus - The Lord of Battles and The God of War , created Ysgard
-Deus Ex Machina , The God of Machine , created Mechanus
-Lolth created the Limbo
-Bane , The Lord of Darkness , The God of Tyranny , created Gehenna
-Cyric , The Prince of Lies , The God of Trickery , created The Pandemonium
-Asmodeus , Lord of Nessus , The God of Knowledge , created The Nine Hells
-Orcus , The Prince of The Undeath , God of the Undead , created The Abyss
-Bhaal , The Lord of Murder , God of Murder , created Hades
-Talona , The Plague-crone , Goddess of Disease , created Acheron
-Myrkul , The Reaper , God of Death , created Carceri


Eons passed, during which the new gods, who will be later called "High Gods" by the great sages of the Material Plane, worked on their respective planes of existence. Wars started and have been fought, the forces of evil, good, law and chaos starting once again their fierce battle, although, caught in an eternal stalemate, as all of them clash with equal force.

New gods emerged from the cosmic clash of those primordial energies. Those gods were the embodiment of the elemental energies that were present on all the planes and thus, the great sages referred to the as the Elemental Gods . They created the planes which we now refer to as The Elemental Planes:

-Akadi , The Goddess of Air created The Elemental Plane of Air
-Kossuth , The God of Fire created The Elemental Plane of Fire
-Grumbar , The God of Earth created The Elemental Plane of Earth
-Istishia , The Godess of Water created The Elemental Plane of Water


Those new planes were created near the center of the battle ground of the primordial forces, were was resided a great pool of mysterious and powerful energy. Those became the Inner Planes and to create a barrier between them and The Outer Planes, the Gods created The Astral Sea.

Eons passed and a powerful entity, stronger than all of the High Gods appeared and approached


And this is how The Great Wheel came to be.
