Special abilities

Jene is a powered human, whose powers were just starting to emerge when Naomi found her. Jene possesses the powers of flight, superhuman strength, super speed, accelerated healing, and nigh invulnerability. It is unclear how many of these powers were natural and how many were added by Enami. Jene is very powerful and knows how to use it, besting veteran ORG agents and heroes with ease.
Following the failed ritual in Osaka, Jene began to lose her powers and her magical gifts. This forced her to rely more on skill, which she had plenty of time to hone in her nearly a decade of hiding. Shortly before the cure ritual was performed, she was still able to combat and escape Team Conviction, though Ryan and Elliot survived the encounter. After the cure ritual, Jene was restored to nearly full power, though she and Yoann both reported that it “didn’t feel the same” as before.
While Jene prefers to rely on her inborn powers, she is an incredibly skilled elemental sorcerer. Her specialization is in rituals and other complicated castings, but don’t underestimate her combat magic. Due to her research in curing the failed ritual curse, she has gained a great understanding of curses and how to cast them, which makes her a formidable opponent.

Personal history

Jennette Alexander was born and raised in Dresden Germany. She met Yoann King while visiting America as part of a study abroad program in college. The two quickly became friends, bonding over mutual passion for the problems they saw in the world. Eventually, Yoann moved to Germany to be with Jene, and they started dating.
In 2006, they met a woman named Naomi Enami in a bar in Lohmen. She told them about her discoveries in magic, and promised power to make their world view a reality. Jene and Yoann stayed in close contact with Enami over the course of the next year, learning magic and making plans for their revolution.
In July of 2007, Enami and her most loyal supporters met in Osaka to start the Enamist movement. As their messages gained traction, Jene and later Yoann found themselves in Namoi’s inner circle. They were feared opponents throughout the Enamist Crisis, the combination of their powers and magic making them particularly deadly.
As the tide began to turn against Enami, she called her inner circle back to Osaka for a ritual that was supposed to save their dying cause. Jene answered that call, along with 12 other high profile Enamists. The ritual was interrupted by a joint Japanese-UN-ORG assault team (which included Team Conviction, among others.) In the resulting fallback, those who were working on the ritual were cursed by dark magic.
Jene was able to escape arrest in Osaka, and escaped with the help of Yoann. They spent the next year trying to revive the Enamists and break their co-conspirators out of prison. Eventually, Jenette was captured and brought back to base island for questioning. She broke free and laid waste to the base before Yoann arrived to help her escape.
Naomi Enami was officially tried and sentenced later that year, and Jene went into hiding. She was spotted once in Budapest, using the alias of , but she evaded capture. After that, she dropped off the international radar until 2020, when she was caught in the act of stealing an ancient ruin stone fragment.
In those years, Jene and Yoann had been living together in hiding, plotting their return. They eventually discovered the curse that was sapping their powers and life force, and invented a ritual to cure themselves and anyone else who survived the ritual and the years between.
In late 2020, the curing ritual was completed. Jene, Yoann, and Naomi were all cued of the ritual curse, facilitating Naomi’s escape and the return of the Enamists. Jene was crucial to recruiting the next inner circle, reforming the Enamists as an elite group instead of a scattered extremist movement.
Jene was killed in battle with ORG and UN forces in 2022. Her death was the beginning of the end for the Neo-enamists.

Education

Jenette graduated high school and college, including a study abroad program where she met her future husband. Jene also trained in dark magic arts under Naomi Enami, and later completed her own research which drastically expanded the scope of elemental magic.

Employment

Jene has worked a variety of jobs to support herself and her husband while on the run. She favors heists now, as the adrenaline rush is more appealing than most jobs.

Contacts & Relations

Jene’s world has narrowed down to Naomi and Yoann over the years. She fights for her love, and to free her great leader. There is no need for anyone else in her world.   This mindset seems to be more recent, or to have become more prominent during her years on the run. Reymundo comments frequently about how Jene “used to be the nice one”, but she doesn't seem to share their fond memories for each other. It’s possible Jene developed this idea to protect herself and give herself focus when she was in hiding.
