Our story begins as a group of unique characters work together to stop a caravan raid.
Our party hunts down the remnants of the bandits who attacked the caravan to make a discovery. The bandits were actually working for a strange cult made up of six fingered denizens.
The Delvers meet Lady Isolt, a Winged Justiciar, whom interrogates the party. Later, Rune meets a Tiefling named Charnessa who gives them the ability to avoid the Justiciars scrying.. The party then heads east, despite being told not to leave Highpeak.
Our "heroes" finally find the mask they have been looking for with a group of cultists, after a heated battle, a guard claims he must take the mask back to its owner. The Delvers then find themselves in a losing struggle against some devils where Hog Bezepoysi meets his end.
The Delvers meet the Jarl of Pherenth and are given information on the elusive mask. A new challenger approaches! Why can he read devil?
Our heroes begin their first delve into "The Wingless Lion Cavern." What secrets lie in store for them?
The Delvers successfully defeat Bildad, a necromancer from Job's past who had gained devilish powers. Not without cost however as Tejan lost his life in the fight. Our heroes return back to Highpeak to try to find a way to revive him and are able to do so after scraping together enough gold and meeting a new companion, Wasido.
After Tejan is brought back to life, our heroes are assailed by the Blue Thorn, a criminal organization within Highpeak. Barely recovering from this, they then come into conflict with Charnessa. They quickly eliminate the threat, but not before she summons multiple devils in the middle of the city. After dispatching these foes, the delvers once again meet with Topaz, a Winged Justiciar. Wasido attacks the paladin and is quickly dispatched. The rest of his party is apprehended and taken to face the High Justiciar and Baron of Highpeak, Lord Gosfridius Creed.
After facing court, Lord Gosfridius lets the party off with a warning, but not before severing 3 of Wasido's fingers and branding him as a traitor of Highpeak. The delvers are then offered a reward if they were to bring down the criminal organization known as the Blue Thorn. Wasido, distraught of his branding, commits suicide via guard. The rest of our heroes track down as much info on the Blue Thorn as they can, but struggle as the criminals seem to have a confusingly deep web of command.
