Dragons

The legend of dragons is a tale as old as time. Massive, terrifying beasts with an insatiable greed and the power to wreak havoc on entire cities. These winged beasts were said to be far more cunning than any human and could live for over a millennia. It is said that in ages past the dragons fought a war against the gods themselves. While no sufficient evidence has been brought forth, it would be evident that if this happened, the dragons lost this war. With the existence of Dragonborn and Kobolds, there is clearly draconic influence on the world. From Piovelans telling tales of brave knights slaying them, to the Critavens myths of the dragons fiendish heritage. One thing is universally accepted. If the dragons ever did exist, they don't anymore.
