Iyuun (ηυουν)

Iyuun is the god of the soil and of fortification in the southern pantheon of gods in Helthoria.

The earth god is described as the trunk of a great pine tree, in some of his forms he is seen with a great mane of deep green needles, hence his title of "The Deep-Rooted Pine." In some depictions, primarily those in the Northern pantheon and his form of Aoldir, he is thought to have no mane at all, while his face is formed from a hollowed, decaying tree trunk. Many of his worshippers believe that he can send his spirit into any tree he wishes in order to communicate with those in whom his favour is found
