Toxoté
Structure
The province operates as military monarchy with a supreme commander appointed as the ruling leader of the land. There is also a council of advisors with (number) of seats that represent the citizenship of the province. These advisors are all elected by the people for different departments. Ultimately, it is the supreme commander that has the final say in any provincial decision.
Culture
A very thick skinned and hardy people live within this province as more of a necessity than a desire to be. An amalgamation of the diseased plaguelands, forbidden ghostlands, and hostile neighboring provinces has conditioned a perpetual sense of danger and death into the residents of Toxoté. Therefore, the people are quite good humored and nihilistic for the most part with a portion of more pessimistic and depressed residents. As it stands for better or for worse, Toxoté is the last stop for many who settle there.
The Toxos people value hard work and interdependence above all else and think lowly of those who don’t do their part for their province and community as literally any slackers actively endanger the rest of the population in some way. When push comes to shove, nothing matters but survival. Rank, status, past achievements, who you’re related to, all of this and more means nothing if you don’t do your part in the present and the Toxos people will make sure you are aware of that.
Warfare and battle is also a norm within this province so the residents are accustomed to constant fighting and training. Skilled fighters are highly valued in this society.
Public Agenda
As a border province, its primary focus is to keep the Plaguelands at bay from the rest of Hell Proper. However, due to influence from Lucifer, Toxoté strives to be an area of Hell that align with Lucifer’s ideal vision for Hell. While many of Lucifer’s ideals are misconstrued, there are many concepts in place that has Toxoté closer than many other provinces to Lucifer’s ideal.
Assets
Toxoté has a high concentration of drugs and drug production due to ingredients from the plaguelands and their exotic nature.
A high concentration of fish due to the abnormal presence of various rivers and lakes.
Very very scarce stash of experimental Rat weaponry which is highly powerful but incredibly dangerous to operate.
A fully functional and efficient Naval force that has been critical against land invasions.
A highly establish army with various forts and fortifications throughout Toxoté.
History
The Province was originally barren and uninhabited land with the exception of a few small tribes around the lakes of Toxoté. This was primarily due to the close proximity of the Plaguelands which was at the time largely unknown and inherently dangerous making any significant power hesitant to settle close to it.
This changed with the arrival of Miguel Gutierrez, a young loose cannon of a Demon freshly inspired by a misheard speech delivered by Lucifer. He wanted to serve Lucifer to the highest degree and establish a country
