Blood-squito

A small insect ranging in size from a marble to the length of a ruler. It has a tiny head that its bulbous three eyes completely covers with a needle sharp sucker jutting out from between two eyes. It’s body consists of chitinous back and a rubbery underside that swells based on the amount of blood it has drunk. The 6 legs are thin and spiry with hooked barbs to hold onto it’s victim. It possess two main wings and two auxiliary wings for stability. It has a strong poison in its needle that could potentially kill a full grown demon as its primary prey tend to be creatures much larger than the average demon. The poison is a numbing agent so the blood sucking and death is relatively painless. They travel in swarms of thousands and can smell prey from a province away.
