Hellas

Hellas is the great continent which holds the Kingdom of the Nine Duchies. It sits at the very heart of the terrestrial disc, surrounded by oceans and beyond them the great River Ocean, which encompasses the entirety of the disc. It is here that the Deathless Gods of Olympus rule over, serving both as Gods and as Royal leaders of the country. Hellas is a beautiful, sprawling land filled with all manner of terrain and people, and holds many mysteries. The Mortals here live in harmony alongside all manner of magical beasts and are governed both by Mortal leaders and their Divine superiors. It is here in Hellas where Gods are free to walk the earth in any way they please. The Deathless Gods of Olympus set the standard for high society and conduct themselves as such, being governed by as many societal rules they have placed upon themselves as they place upon Mortality. Above the Terrestrial Disc sits the Celestial Sphere, the home of the stars and planets and governed by the most Ancient of Gods. And below resides the Underworld, governed by the Chthonic Deities and makes all the souls of the departed its inhabitants. Hellas is a place somewhat outside of time, but equally slave to it. Though time may have no hold on the Gods themselves, everything around them is forever trapped in its clutches. And with that, the times change, and the Gods continue to grow and adapt along with it.
