- |A|* - pronounced 'ah' and 'uh' but sometimes 'aw'
- |O| - pronounced 'oh' but 'owe' when ending a word.
- |E| - pronounced 'eh' but 'ay' when starting a word and is silent at the end of a word.
- |I| - pronounced as 'i' in a noun, 'ee' in a verb and 'eye' in an adjective.
- |U| - pronounced as 'oo' at the beginning of a word but 'uh' at the end.
- |Y| - there isn't a consistent pronunciation of this vowel; it could be 'ee', 'eye', 'yeh', 'yee' and even 'eeyeh'
Consonants
They resemble English consonants but with a few exceptions:- |CH| - pronounced as a hard 'k' but as a soft 'z' at the end of a word.
- |ZH| - pronounced as a hard 'z'
- |XY| - pronounced as 'ksi' but 'zee' at the end of a word.
- |NX| - pronounced 'nix'
- |W| - silent unless it ends a word.
- |L| - pronounced 'lah' at the end of a word.
