Spelltipide
The spelltipede chimera, was a failed attempt at approving upon the special properties of the dreaded flail snail, even though the projects were disbanded the species persists till present day, due it’s unforeseen ability to dominate creatures around it, as such spelltipedes are known to carve out lairs in remote locations and dominate local wild life to serve it’s will. Thankfully they are not overly intelligent, otherwise they would surely prove far more terrifying foes.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
A spelltipede carapace, which weighs about 50 pounds per plate, of which it has 8, has numerous uses. One intact car-apace can sell for 5,000 gp.
The carapace of the spelltipede are sought for much the same reasons a flail snail. A skilled armorer can make a shield from two of its plates. For 1 month, each shield gives its wielder the snail's Antimagic Shell trait. When the shield's magic fades, it leaves behind an exotic shield that is the perfect item from which to make a spell guard shield.
A spelltipedes carapace can also be used to make a robe of scintillating colors. The carapace is ground and added to the dye while the garment is being fashioned. The powder is also a material component of the ritual that enchants the robe.
The feelers can be used for items which are meant to take control of other creatures, such as staffs of domination or weapons meant to enslave beasts.
