The Cult of the Black Snake

An evil cult to the god Apep, currently centered in the deep ocean of the shadowfell. Headed by a human lich named Aspen Ken. Wants the world to be engulfed in endless night and darkness as revenge for the atrocities the gods have committed- especially against the Icons of the Gods, who's ruthlessness in enacting their gods will disgusts them.
Made up of a lot of shadowfell natives- those who live close to Apep hear his whispers and have over time formed a cult to him after he was sealed away after the Rending. Lower ranking ones are also oftentimes forced to work for the cult by less than good means.
