T (The Boss)

I knew we were doomed the moment Ladreaus opened his mouth. He was never much good at soothing the boss' ire.   "Please, sir, you have to understand. The Champions, they were able to see the connection somehow - it should have been impossible! We had no way of knowing. We can correct, it will take time, but punishing us for this would be down right unprofes-hrk!"   I squeezed my eyes shut as the sound of Ladreaus' bones crumbling to dust filled the room. He let out a few last gurgles in protest before he began to drip out of the psychic hold that was crushing him into so little goo. We gorfrosċ have always died messy, but this was excessive.   When Ladreaus was nothing more than a puddle of evaporating goo on the ground, I opened my eyes slowly, shaking in my boots. I found one of the boss' baleful eyes glaring at me expectantly. After a moment he spoke in a low gurgle, reverberating through the room.   "Uh, I have certainly learned that, uh-umm..." My eyes dart to the puddle beside me. "I have learned that you prefer things be right the first time, because now they know what we are doing, and they know to prepare."   His massive eye holds me in its terrible stare for a beat, and then another, and just when I think he will kill me, he blinks, and I feel the awful weight lift. I let out a sigh and my shoulders sag, when suddenly his low voice pierces dread into my chest like true ice.   "It is a shame, really... you had the right answer. If only you had not stuttered."   For a moment, that terrible gaze returned, joined by seven others, and then all I knew was dark.
The leader of the Cabal that is spearheading the gorfrosċ resistance against Sindri's ongoing quest of freedom and liberation is an enigmatic figure; so far the Champions have only encountered proxies and agents. The only name the Champions of Hardhaven have for this mysterious individual is the initial T.
