Personal history
Born to a lower class family, Galiff rose to great heights as a paladin during the southern wars. Due to a disagreement with Ser Niels Tanzer, upon the war's conclusion Galiff retired to Grennet where he married and had one son, Mederic. He lost his wife and eventually founded a bar, the Violet Hog in Grennet where he lived comfortably until the coup orchestrated by Adra Malak in 1124. He stayed in Grennet, defending his town until he was called upon to march to the capital by the Queen of Light, wielding the stone of Cancer. Upon Adra's defeat, Galiff made peace with Ser Tanzer and returned to his home, assisting with its repair and training his son as his successor. Currently he is content running his bar.
