Heia

The wheel of history turns and twists with the rise and fall of empires. Dynasties come to power and are overthrown once more with each turn of the wheel. Red banners, black turbans and grey cowls are worn and adorned with the heraldry of great houses or holy symbols with the crowning of kings and emperors.   Heia is a world of change, a world of empires and dynasties fighting against the wheel of fate. There is no constant, for the mountains move inch by inch, the lakes and rivers dry up and flood in each cycle of history, and civilizations rise and prosper only to fall.   It is a cycle that began long ago when Man first stood on the surface of Heia many thousands of years ago, coming in great void arks that drifted with the currents of otherworldly dimensions. Great star empires came and gone in the history of Heia until a great catastrophe torn asunder the galactic civilization of mankind.   Since that catastrophe, Heia has regressed to a technological level far below that of their ancient ancestors'. It has only recently reinvented the steam engine - a primitive early predecessor of the great space-ripper engines used by their ancestors to traverse the vast distances of space to reach Heia.   With the passing of a purple comet, a great change will come to Heia. Ancient relics are being rediscovered, Great wars ravage the kingdoms and empires of man and promises to bring a new order to the wheel of history, and beings born with the blood of gods and demons are destined to change the fate of this world.   Only then will the wheel of history turn anew once more.
