Great Ornikai War

The Ornikai of Kan'ornik were a proud race of people. They valued strength, honour and wisdom. They were one of the major clans of Pan'lorne, a region of planes within the Cosmic Sea. This was until the planes began to fade and disappear. Eventually the Ornikai were homeless.
Many sought refuge in other planes, but very few accepted them; the Alliance of the Planes refused to accept the Ornikai clans, Kan'ornik being one of them. This was due to the Ornikai not fully being united as one clan, as well as many failures in negotiations in the past.
High Chief Varbuk of Kan'ornik did manage to unite their people. However, not for the cause of peace but for war.

Once the Ornikai have united under the Kan'ornik banner, the people began to do all they can to gather as much resources they can to survive. They did this through hiding within the Cosmic Sea and plundered any Planeships they found. Year after year, the Alliance of the Planes would lose many ships to the Ornikai.

We, the Ornikai, will not kneel to those who not only lied, but stole everything from us. We know it was the Alliance who took our homes from us, because we were a threat to the slivering binds they hold on their so-called allies.

Eventually the plundering weren't enough for the Ornikai. So in an all or nothing act, the ornikai sailed what little Planeships they had to Jaladoré, a plane within the Alliance. However just outside of the plane, the Ornikai fleet were caught by the Atharian Navy.
What then became known as the Battle of Jaladoré, also became the turning point of the Ornikai. Those who survived were either captured, executed or had somehoe escaped. Since this day, the Alliance deemed the Ornikai as eternal enemies of the planes, and any association of the Ornikai is severely punishable.
