Seagrapes
Small bunches of dark green fruit that barely floats, quite edible after cooking. Pretty much a survival staple amongst travellers and gatherers. The taste is very bland but packs decent nutrition and is easy to spot and gather.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Each pod holds a little air, allowing the attached plant to rise toward the light and aids in dispersal.
History
Seagrapes were seeded in Stage 4 botanical enrichment, according to scholars. They were brought down before complex animal life in Stage 5.
