Haven

Haven is an old place tucked away in the infinite expanse of space, 8 planets revolving around a dark star named The Black Sun. The planets themselves are closer than normal being about the same distance apart from the earth to the moon. The surface of many planets dotting the horizon like gleaming lanterns in the night. Each planet has distinct features but share the remains of ancient technology of the Vymar and the presence of galactic settlers. The Black Sun is by far the most interesting of the celestial bodies as it produces light and heat identical to that of a sun and yet is a planet of black sand and desolate mountains, on this planet lies a dark presence waiting in a crimson palace.   The world itself is of the Science fiction flavor only absent of firearms, instead wielding swords and shields. The only projectiles of the laser variety being the ones on battle cruisers. Besides that their are space faring vessels and machines that border on omnipresent precision. Though dragons still fly across the sky and the gaps between planets, goblins and orcs still chant of war, and magic still rules, science and technology accompany these concepts every step of the way. With Orc war bands speeding off in war vessels and machines powered by magic trundle off to war, dragons of steel and smoke thunder across the horizon.
