Dwarves on the Frontier: It is not uncommon to see dwarves within Harrenshore. They have formed an small community within the colony with many taking up adventuring as a profession. They are often encountered as merchants, guards, or smiths.
Dwarves in the Old World: The majority of the dwarven population centers are located in mountains and hilly regions of the Old World. Each mountain can become a kingdom onto itself as the dwarves expand their mines deeper into something of a vertical urban sprawl. There is a history of tensions between the Mountain Dwarves and the Duergar sub-races from generations of territorial conflicts and cultural differences.
