Tortoisefolk Tortle

Few and far between, the Tortles are nomadic wanderers often found traipsing the coastlines of Harodra, exploring the world with their lengthened lives. Tortles are bipedal, humanoid tortoises and turtles bearing large shells and thick skin. They are typically quite wise, giving their idioms freely when they settle down for trade along their journeys.

Near all Tortles spend their lives on a natural pilgrimage, determined to see as much of the world as they can in their lifetime. They will typically do this alone until they find a partner, and then travel in small families, though as soon as a child is old enough it will in turn leave on its own to repeat the nomadic cycle once more.
